Panama City Beach: Make It Yours Guide
Beaches
It’s all about the Sand. Seriously, make sure to pack your sunglasses, because the sand is sugar white and reflects the sun. PCB has 27 miles of beautiful, pristine beaches where you can soak up the sun and enjoy the turquoise water! Or just relax by the beach under an umbrella with a great book, while burying your toes in the soft sand. You can also have fun playing volleyball, venture out on a paddle board, build a sand castle, or numerous other activities! At the Beach, just make it yours!
Adventure into the Water
Did you know that PCB is the “Wreck Diving Capital of the South”? Me neither! However, I’m planning on exploring on my next trip to PCB! The Gulf has so many hidden treasures just waiting to be discovered beneath the turquoise water! Make It Yours with a scuba-diving excursion!
Along with scuba diving, PCB provides perfect conditions for:
Snorkeling
Jet-skiing
Boating
Paddle boarding
Kayaking
Tour companies with experienced guides will help you navigate the Gulf, or you can rent equipment and explore on your own!
Ecotourism
Beautiful foliage and wildlife abounds in Panama City Beach. Plan to hike or bike through any one of the many trails that PCB has to offer. Experience Florida’s wildlife up close and personal while working off that dinner from Pineapple Willy’s.

Panama City Beach Conservation Park
Once you make it to the Conservation Park, there are 12 other hiking trails to explore that range in distance from .6 to 11 miles of Florida wildlife.
Camp Helen State Park and St. Andrews State Park
Both of these State parks have multiple activities. Tripadvisor has named St. Andrews State Park the #2 beach in the United States. At St. Andrews, you’ll have access to a beautiful beach that provides kayaking, canoeing, hiking trails, bird watching, and even pontoon rentals, allowing you to explore the Gulf of Mexico on your own!
Camp Helen is located between the Gulf and Lake Powell. This park offers some great hiking through coastal dunes and salt marshes, but also is a great location for freshwater and saltwater fishing.
Whether you want the exhilaration of mountain biking or a leisurely stroll with your dog, PCB has a trail for you. Just make it yours!
Simple Fun:
Although Panama City Beach has beautiful beaches and natural habitats to explore, there is still plenty of fun around town!
